About Love My Lead

Love My Lead offers reliable and professional pet care services in Ilkeston and surrounding areas.

I'm Jacqui Storey and I am the owner of Love My Lead.

I founded Love My Lead in 2019 after a long career in Professional Services for the University of Nottingham. I was a volunteer dog walker for many years and am a lifelong animal lover so making the move to start my business was a natural progression.

I have cared for a variety of breeds of dogs; from Rottweilers to Cavapoos and always work with my customers to ensure my service is tailored to their dog’s individual needs. This might mean playing ball in the garden or an energetic walk. I have also cared for a number of cats so if you would rather your cats stayed home when you go away, I will be happy to call and make sure they are well fed and kept comfortable.

To ensure I bring high standards of professionalism to Love My Lead, I have completed the NARPS UK Pet Sitting and Dog Walking Business Course. The course covers Business Set Up and Management, Pet Care & First Aid, Animal law and Business Conduct.

Love My Lead has full insurance cover and I hold a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Services

Dog Walking £9 half hour / £11 for 45 mins / £13 for 1 hour

Single and small group walks are available. The maximum number of dogs we walk in a group is 3 and we will only walk dogs together if you are happy for us to do so.

Small Pet Care £9 half hour visit

We will ensure your pet has fresh food and water and is in a clean environment. The above prices are for the time we would spend with your pet so exclude travelling time. This applies to a 3 mile radius of Ilkeston.
